Mince Meat

Scale: clear | x0.25 | x0.5 | x1.5 | x2 | x3 | x4

  • 1 lb (454 g) lean ground beef

Mince meat and cover in water, bring to a boil and skim off fat layer

  • salt
  • finely ground pepper
  • 1 Tbsp Marmite
  • carrots, grated

Lower to simmer, 1.5 hours

  • 14 cup corn starch
  • 2 Tbsp Bisto, gravy

Simmer 1/2 hour

Add Corn starch to thicken more. Can be used for Shepherds Pie
