Double Fudge Chocolate Cake

Scale: clear | x0.25 | x0.5 | x1.5 | x2 | x3 | x4

  • 0.5 (26 g) large eggs
  • 14 cup (50 g) white granulated sugar
  • 1 12 tsp (7 g) unsalted butter, softened
  • 14 cup (52 g) vegetable oil
  • 2 Tbsp (16 g) cocoa, packed
  • 2 Tbsp buttermilk
  • 14 tsp (1 g) vanilla extract

Beat in order, adding ingredients one at a time

  • 12 cup, 1 Tbsp (70 g) all-purpose flour
  • 14 tsp (2 g) baking soda
  • 14 tsp (2 g) baking powder

Sift together and add to liquid mixture

  • 14 cup (59 g) water, boiling

Fold in boiling water

Place mixture in two prepared, round 9” cake pans.

  • 2 Tbsp (19 g) Chipits chocolate chips

Sprinkle with ½ cup chocolate chips.

Bake for 25 minutes.
