Block Facebook on Windows computer.

Theres a file located in C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc called hosts that allows you to block domains. This isn't permanent, if the user you're trying to block knows this method then they can easily edit it themselves and regrant access themselves, just with past experiences most people don't know this method.

This method is good if you need to block Facebook temporarily to help increase productivity, or stop young ones from using it.

Vista and Windows 7 users must use notepad in Run in Admin mode, you must then File -> Open and navigate to that file location and change the Dropdown box on the right bottom side that says Text Document(*.txt) to All Files (*.*) to see it.
Windows XP users can edit it in any program they wish.

I've hunted for a bit to find other domains that make Facebook accessible and these are the ones I've found so far, so this list may grow if myself or others find more in the future.

Unblock Facebook

If you want to grant access later on you must add a pound symbol (#) in front of each line and theres a possibility you made need to restart the machine. But with my tests I've never had to restart the machine.
